CnB Training offer a training area that is free of traffic and has wide open training area allowing a more relaxed and stress free learning environment for drivers to develop their driving skills without feeling the pressure of mainstream traffic and confinements of road restrictions.
Our Driving Instructors are patient, understanding and will guide you through car controls and application so you gain confidence with smooth maneuvers. You will learn the basic’s to simple maneuvres, ie parking, observation and awareness, including safe road position(s).
Whether you drive manual or auto, it is important to get the right start so you build a solid and sound foundation to total car management and road craft
Preparing for your License – step to independence
Preparing for Success – getting your class 1 (Restricted) License
Once you have been driving amongst traffic and feel confident enough to advance onto your next stage of license (class 1 Restricted), you will benefit from several driving lessons. CnB Trainers have a very high success rate with preparing their clients in achieving successfully this stage of license with as little as 5 training lessons. Our highly focused driver training courses are streamlined and optimized so focus on requirements to achieve this license stage.
Focus on correct lane position, observation skills, smooth maneuvering, correct management of correct parallel and reverse parallel parking. Understanding technicalities of 3 point turns and U-turns. You will also gain knowledge of Driving errors and the immediate fails that can apply in the actual driving test.
Preparing for your class 1 (full)
Your license journey is coming to completion. By now you will have developed a high and confident level of driving. Preparing for this stage requires identifying Hazards. Identifying what a real hazard is. Verbalizing these by description to the testing officer, then offering a precautionary action to avoid an incident. You need to develop quick short descriptions of hazards and a short prompt remedial. Your CnB Driving Instructor will offer some examples of phrases to use. Coaching to identify all hazards is essential as you will be required to demonstrate these.
Usually a minimum of 3 driving sessions will see you succeed this level of license.
Driving A Manual Car
Learning to operate a manual vehicle requires a higher level of skill than operating an Automatic vehicle.
You will develop the appropriate sequence to coordinate clutch release and accelerator engagement to ensure safe and smooth operation of the vehicle. You will understand important and key elements of driver technique which will form the basis and foundation of your driving skills.
Having the ability to operate a manual vehicle does give more options with future employment.
Automatic Car available
Most common vehicle to learn to drive in. If you do not have a car of your own, CnB Tutors can provide an Automatic Car to learn to drive at no addtional charge.
International Drivers in New Zealand
Getting the right training/coaching is important to ensure your safety on New Zealand Roads.
Traffic in NZ can be very different from your home country. The road position is also very different and your driving habits may need to be refined to manage safe driving in New Zealand.
Your CnB instructor has the experience to communicate clearly so you have a good understanding of NZ road rules, driving habits and driver attitude in New Zealand. You will also be given helpful techniques and visual aids to assist you.
Getting reliable, professional and relevant training will ensure you are in the best position to remain safe and enjoy driving in and on New Zealand roads.
Corporate Care Driver Program
Health and Safety is a major factor for company’s. If you have company vehicles and your staff have access to them, you may wish to participate in our Diamond Group, Corporate Care Driver Safety & Awareness Module which will provide insight to requirements when operating company vehicles.
You may be exposed to potential damages arising from negligence for not providing the necessary safety equipment in company vehicles!
Staff operating the company vehicles may not hold the correct license!
Driver Reviews are beneficial, ensuring company standards and policies surrounding Health and Safety are maintained. should any anomalies appear a quick resolution can be implemented prior to any possible accidents occurring.
